Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, you have no more excuses to enjoy the jolliest of seasons! After two years of despair, uncertainty, and depriving ourselves of a proper Christmas Celebration, it is more than fantastic that most of the events are back! Wondering how to take advantage of this phenomenal season? Here’s a small taste of what Miami has to offer Holiday-wise.

Light Up the Beach. The fantastic beach snowman of over 20-foot, named las Olas, is back! Light up the Beach takes center stage with around 50,000-holiday lights blinking and filling the already picturesque Fort Lauderdale beach. In November, it’s Christmas as the lighting ceremony kicks off on November 23 with Santa, Yuletide Carolers, jazz saxophonist Randy Corinthian, the Fort Lauderdale Symphonic Winds, plus kids zone slides inflatables, pony rides, and more at Las Olas Oceanside Park. The 59th edition of the Greater Pompano Beach Holiday Boat Parade is a perfect choice for those who love parades! Sailing on December 10, kids and adults will be able to wave at Santa and Mrs. Claus and witness over 50 decorated boats glowing with sparkling lights, Xmas ornaments, and music. Santa’s Enchanted Forest. Be sure you are not on the naughty list so you can visit Santa’s Enchanted Forest this year! Santa’s Enchanted Forest reopened at its new location at Hialeah Park Thursday night, with rides, food vendors, games, a giant Christmas tree, and enough lights to get you in a holiday frame of mind! For info about the admission fees, new location, and more, visit the official website: https://www.santasenchantedforest.com/.

The Hip-Hop Nutcracker. We all know the classic version is almost mandatory this time of year, but if you’re looking to step out of your comfort zone and enjoy something truly original, you can’t miss this one. The Hip Hop Nutcracker returns to the stage for its seventh season on tour, a holiday mash-up for the whole family. Jennifer Weber directed and choreographed this contemporary dance spectacle; this modern dance spectacle is a re-mixed and re-imagined version of the classic, smashing hip hop dance and Tchaikovksy’s timeless music into a heart-stirring and inspirational holiday event. Do check availability and ticket info HERE

Historic Holiday Décor at Deering Estate. This holiday season, visitors can tour the historic houses at the Deering Estate as they come alive with holiday accents and festive decorations that will transport visitors to the glamor and elegance of the Gilded Age.
